EVO Experts is the expert witness practice and trading name of Evolution Project Consulting Ltd (EVLPC).
Behind the practice stands a bench of court-tested specialists across every major technical discipline, supported by a team that resources and manages complex matters end to end. It is a deliberately different model from the single-expert consultancy: whatever the technology at the heart of a case, the right expertise is already in place or can be sourced and vetted at pace.

Jason Coyne, founder
EVO was founded by Jason Coyne, an IT and technology expert witness with decades of experience in high-profile litigation. He has prepared expert reports and given oral evidence in some of the most demanding technology disputes to reach the English courts.
Most notably, Jason acted as the claimants’ independent IT expert in the Post Office Horizon litigation, Bates and Others v Post Office Ltd, where the court preferred his evidence on whether the Horizon accounting system could produce the shortfalls that sub-postmasters were held liable for. It remains one of the most consequential IT disputes in English legal history.
Jason is listed on the register of The Academy of Experts and leads EVO as Managing Director.
